To design a programme for a group of Swiss road construction professionals that would go beyond a traditional visit to Naples.
The objective was to explore the city from an engineering and architectural perspective — understanding how Naples developed through different historical layers, from Ancient Greece and Rome to the modern city — while combining professional discovery with networking and team-building experiences.
Working with a specialised architect-guide, we created a tailor-made itinerary focused on the evolution of urban infrastructure and construction.
The programme included Pompeii, offering a fascinating insight into Roman urban planning and ancient infrastructure, followed by an exploration of Naples Underground, where centuries of construction reveal the different layers of the city beneath today’s streets.
To balance the professional programme with networking and team building, we organised a private journey along the Amalfi Coast aboard two boats — an efficient way to experience Amalfi and Positano during high season while avoiding complex road logistics. Guests enjoyed swimming stops and lunch at a secluded waterfront restaurant accessible only by boat.
A hands-on Neapolitan pizza cooking class added a relaxed team-building element to the programme.
The experience concluded with an elegant dinner overlooking the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius.
